KU Remains at No. 25 in Baseball America Poll

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

For the second straight week the University of Kansas earned a 25th-place ranking in the Baseball America national poll. The Jayhawks won one of three games against No. 2 Clemson in Clemson, S.C. last weekend to improve to 15-6 on the year.

Kansas defeated the Tigers on Saturday, 6-5, in front of 5,261 fans at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. KU was five-outs away from winning the series on Sunday but Clemson rallied back from a 2-0 deficit to win the rubber match, 4-3.

Kansas will open its Big 12 schedule on Friday against Baylor in Waco, Texas at 7 p.m. The series is a part of a 10-game road trip that will also include games at No. 12 Nebraska and Creighton.
