Two Additional Kansas Baseball Games to be Televised

NEW ORLEANS, La. –

Kansas City-based cable provider Cox Communications announced Monday that it will televise the final two games of the three-game Big 12 series between Kansas and inter-state rival Kansas State on Saturday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 16 at 2 p.m., on their Cox Channel 22. The game will also be made available on Metro Sports (Channel 37 on Sunflower Cable in Lawrence).

These televised games are in addition to two other games which can be seen on national TV – Sunday, April 18 at Nebraska (CBS College Sports) and Saturday, May 1 at Oklahoma State (Fox Sports Net). The four televised games is the most for the Kansas baseball team since the 2005 season.

The 19th-ranked Jayhawks (11-4) will face Tulane in a two-game midweek series beginning Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. Both games from the series can be heard via internet broadcast at www.kuathletics.com.
