Kansas in 13th-Place Tie After Second Day of Betsy Rawls Invitational

<?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>AUSTIN, Texas – The University of Kansas women’s golf team is tied for 13th place after shooting a round of 328 on the second day of the Betsy Rawls Invitational.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

Duke continues to lead the field, followed by Texas A&M, Purdue, and OklahomaState.

Kansas’ Amanda Costner’s second round 84 has her in a tie for 32nd, the highest standing of any Jayhawk competitor. Annie Giangrosso is tied for 35th after shooting an 80, while Meredith Winkelmann is tied for 44th, also recording an 80 on the tournament’s second day.

Chelsey Pryor’s 85 has her in 74th place, while Sarah Kierl is in 83rd following her round of 96.

Duke’s Amanda Blumenherst leads the tournament at 2-over par following her round of 74 on Saturday.
