Swimmer Kuzhil Competes on Day Two of NCAA Championships

AUSTIN, Texas –
Senior Iuliia Kuzhil represented the University of Kansas swimming and diving team Friday at the 2011 NCAA Championships as she competed in the 100-yard backstroke in Austin, Texas. The Cherkasy, Ukraine, native placed 34th in the event with a time of 53.89.
Kuzhil will be back in action Saturday for the final day of the NCAA Championships when she will compete in the 200-yard backstroke. The senior swimmer placed ninth in the same event at the 2010 NCAA Championships with a time of 1:53.44.
