Jayhawks In First At Stevinson Ranch Invitational

The <?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>University of Kansas men’s golf team is in first place after two rounds of the Stevinson Ranch Invitational.
The Jayhawks shot rounds of 286 and 287 for a two round total of 573. They have a six shot lead over Missouri who totaled a 579.
Senior Kevin Ward leads the tournament after a two round total of 132. His second round of 64 and two round total are both tournament records. Sophomore Gary Woodland is tied for 10th with a 144. Sophomore Tyler Docking posted a two round total of 146 and is in a tie for 12th. Junior Luke Trammell is tied for 36th after totaling a 151. Junior Pete Krsnich is currently tied for 63rd with a 157. Freshman John Newcomer, playing as an individual, is in 79th with a 162.
