KLWN Radio (1320 AM) in Lawrence will call the play-by-play of the future Jayhawk with Brian Hanni and Jud Easterday behind the microphones.

Collins will play for the West Team in the event, hosted by San Diego State University. The game will air live on ESPN at 9 p.m. (Central) followed by the McDonald’s Jam Fest.

Collins averaged 33 points, eight rebounds and 6.1 assists per game for Crane Tech Prep High School in Chicago this past season. The 5-11, 195-pound, point guard signed with Kansas last November.

Collins gives KU 27 McDonald’s All-Americans. Current Jayhawks Mario Chalmers and Julian Wright played in last year’s game.
