2006 Day Camps

Pitching: This year, KU will be holding two specialized pitching clinics that will be taught by Coach Bunge and assisted by several members of the KU pitching staff. Basic Pitching will focus on the mechanics and fundamentals of pitching and also increasing velocity. This camp is for ages 10-18. Advanced Pitching will break down pitches — rise, curve, drop, screw and the change-up. Advanced Pitching is for ages 14-18. Both sessions will break down the pitching motion and present the drills necessary to build effectiveness. All pitchers must provide their own catchers.

Hitting: Basic Hitting will cover the basic fundamentals of the swing and learning the drills that will help improve the quality and effectiveness of the swing. This camp is for ages 10-18. Advanced Hitting is a continuation of Basic Hitting. This will be a faster-moving clinic and will be more in-depth on what it takes to be a great hitter. More advanced drills will be introduced along with hitting locations and moving pitches. Advanced Hitting is for ages 12-18. Both hitting sessions will be taught by KU assistant coaches Jen Sewell and Christi Musser.
