Jayhawks Continue Spring Season at Western Intercollegiate

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. –
The Kansas Men’s Golf team will look for back-to-back top five finishes as they travel to compete in the 63rd annual Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Course (par-70, 6511 yards) March 29-31.
The Jayhawks were last in action at the Desert Shootout when the Jayhawks placed fourth, led by a fifth place finish by Nate Barbee.
Head coach Kit Grove will utilize the lineup of seniors Walt Koelbel and Andrew Storm, junior Bryan Hackenberg and freshmen Ian Anson and Blake Giroux.
The event is hosted by San Jose State, which is the alma mater of former head coach and current director of golf operations Ross Randall.
The 54-hole event will feature a single round each day. Live scoring will be available at golfstat.com.
The 18-team field features defending champion Saint Mary’s and Big 12 rival Colorado.
