Kansas Women's Tennis Knocks Off Oklahoma State, 4-3

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Kansas women’s tennis wrapped up a successful trip to the state of Oklahoma as it defeated No. 70 Oklahoma State, 4-3, Sunday afternoon.

Kansas took two of the three doubles matches to clinch the doubles point for just the fifth time this season. Edina Horvath and Ekaterina Morozova were victorious at the No. 1 position for the second time this weekend as were Yuliana Svistun and Kunigunda Dorn at the No. 3 spot.

Entering singles action with the 1-0 team advantage, Kansas took care of business to earn the three necessary wins to knock off the Cowgirls. Morozova, Maria Martinez and Erin Wilbert each went undefeated for the weekend to push KU on to victory.

The Jayhawks continue their road stand when they travel to Waco, Texas to take on Baylor on April 3 at 6 p.m. KU will then travel on to Lubbock, Texas to face Texas Tech on April 5 at 11 a.m.
