Kansas Softball to Hold Skills Camps This Summer

March 31, 2010

Young softball players wanting to develop their skills will have a chance to learn at one of three softball camps offered by the University of Kansas softball team this summer.

The Jayhawks’ first camp will be held June 21-24 and is open to players entering 9-12th grade. These sessions will be geared toward team concepts and individual skills, which will prepare players for high school level softball.

An all-skills camp will run July 11-14 and will focus on the development of all fundamental skills of the game. This camp is designed for players entering grades 3-8.

From July 14-16, Kansas softball will host its pitcher/catcher camp, open to grades 3-12.
