Volunteers Needed for 2010 Kansas Relays

March 31, 2010

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Volunteers are still needed for the 83rd edition of the Kansas Relays, April 14-17, at the University of Kansas. The historic meet will again be one of the focal points of the outdoor track and field season and in order to have the fourth-largest track and field meet in the country run smoothly, your help is needed!

As the field of competitors grows each year, so does the demand for volunteers. Volunteers will be asked to help in a variety of areas, from staging the athletes before events to helping run results and other invaluable jobs that the Kansas Relays could not function without.

Volunteers will receive a complimentary Kansas Relays shirt for their efforts. If you are interested in helping and becoming a part of a truly historic Kansas tradition, please contact Track and Field Administrative Assistant Debbie Luman at dluman@ku.edu or 785-864-3486. Your help is truly appreciated as we look to take the Kansas Relays to new horizons in the future.

We look forward to working with you at the 83rd Annual Kansas Relays.
