Kansas Women's Golf Tied for 11th Place at Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate

UNIVERSITY, Miss.—Freshman Thanuttra Boonraksasat’s four birdies and first round 73 led the Kansas women’s golf team into at tie for 11th place after the first round of the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate in University, Miss., Friday. Boonraksasat is also tied for 11th individually.

Senior Meghna Bal is tied for 39th after firing a 77 on the first day. Junior Katy Nugent and freshman Meghan Potee are both tied for 60th after carding a 79.

Grace Thiry shot an 80 in the first round and the senior is tied for 71st.

The Jayhawks will compete in the second round on Saturday.
