Mark Mangino To Throw Out First Pitch at Royals' Opener

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas head football coach Mark Mangino will throw out the first pitch at the Kansas City Royals’ home opener against the New York Yankees on Tuesday. That game is slated to start at 3:10 p.m.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

Mangino led Kansas to a 12-1 record, a victory in the FedEx Orange Bowl and a final national ranking of seventh last season. The Jayhawks will conclude spring practice with their annual spring game sponsored by People’s Bank on Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. The game is free to the public.
