Kansas Baseball Adds Non-Conference Games to Schedule

April 9, 2013

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Due to winter weather that cancelled games during the early part of the season, Kansas baseball has added two non-conference games to its schedule. The Jayhawks will take on Ottawa University on Wednesday, April 17 at 6 p.m., and face Baker University on Wednesday, April 24 at 6 p.m. Both games will be played at Hoglund Ballpark.

The Jayhawks lost two weekends worth of games as well as two midweek contests against Missouri State due to unseasonable snow storms in the Midwest. The two games against NAIA opponents will get KU’s scheduled back to 56 regular season contests.

Fans will be admitted free of charge to both games.

Kansas will play Iowa in a two-game non-conference series beginning this evening at 6 p.m., with the second game scheduled for Wednesday at 4 p.m. Both games can be heard on KLWN Radio (1320 AM).
