The University of Kansas will host North Dakota State in a two-game series Tuesday and Wednesday at Hoglund Ballpark. Tuesday’s game will begin at 6 p.m. with Wednesday’s game set for 3 p.m.

A Look at North Dakota State
The Bison enter its mid-week series 2-24 and on a six-game losing streak. North Dakota State has yet to play a home game and will only play nine all season. NDSU is in its third year of a five-year NCAA reclassification from Division II to Division I. The Bison will not be eligible for NCAA playoffs until the 2008-09 season and currently don’t compete in a conference. Luke Otto (.319), Charles Magedanz (.307) and Jared Sullivan (.305) lead the Bison in hitting.

The `Don’ of Records
Senior Don Czyz set two records in helping KU win its series against Texas Tech on April 9. The Overland Park, Kan., native came into the ball game in the eighth inning, marking his 112th career appearance to set a new Big 12 record. Czyz also recorded the save in KU’s 5-3 victory for his 12th of the season, setting a new KU single season record.

Mark Your Calenders
With the cancelation of KU’s March 22 game against Creighton in Omaha, Neb., the Jayhawks have announced an additional game. KU will host Tabor College at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19. Their will be no charge to attend the KU-Tabor game.
