Jayhawks Finish Tied for 14th After Day One at River Landing Intercollegiate

WALLACE, N.C. –

Andrew Storm shot a first day 147 to lead the Kansas men’s golf team to a tied for 14th place finish after two rounds at the River Landing Intercollegiate.

Storm, who tied for 15th at the Jayhawks’ last event at the Western Intercollegiate, enters the final round of play tied for 32nd place.

Fellow senior Walt Koelbel is tied for 41st place after carding 149 strokes through two rounds of play.

Junior Bryan Hackenberg is tied for 60th place after shooting rounds of 75 and 78. Senior Zach Pederson is tied for 63rd place with 154 strokes. Freshman Ian Anson is in 84th place with 163 strokes.

North Carolina State, the host school, leads the event by seven strokes through two rounds with a score of 563. Matt Hill of North Carolina State leads the event with 138 strokes after two rounds of play.
