KU enters the dual following last weekend’s setback at the hands of Missouri in Columbia. After trailing 2-0 to start the dual, the Jayhawks made a strong comeback to take a 3-2 lead behind singles wins from Elizaveta Avdeeva, Edina Horvath and Yuliana Svistun. However, MU eventually came out on top, 4-3.

Svistun has the third best conference mark in the No. 5 singles slot at 5-2.

Also picking up a win was Kansas’ top doubles tandem of Avdeeva and Horvath, who boast a 6-1 Big 12 mark that has them atop the standings at the No. 1 position.

Kansas currently has a record of 4-12, including a 2-5 league mark.

The Wildcats, who defeated Kansas, 6-1, last season in Manhattan, come in with a record of 4-11, 2-4. KSU has won two matches in a row after a streak of 10 straight losses plagued the team midseason.
