Potee Leads Kansas into Ninth Place Following Day One of Baylor Spring Invitational

WACO, Texas—Kansas women’s golf is in ninth place following the first two rounds of the Baylor Spring Invitational in Waco, Texas, on Monday. The Jayhawks carded rounds of 312 and 317 on the day and are 25 strokes behind the leader Texas Tech.
Meghan Potee leads Kansas as the freshman is tied for ninth individually after firing rounds of 75 and 76.
Senior Grace Thiry and junior Katy Nugent are tied for 36th with a two-round score of 159. Both shot 78 and 81 in the first and second rounds.
Jennifer Clark, competing as an individual, and Meghna Bal are tied for 4th. The seniors both carded a 36-hole 160.
Freshman Thanuttra Boonraksasat is tied for 65th after firing rounds of 84 and 81 to finish the first day with a 36-hole 165.
