We were able to test quarterbacks in some difficult situations and they both did a very good job today. On defense, we played the run pretty well and we brought a tough mental edge to that side of the ball.”

Sophomore quarterback Kerry Meier threw for 204 yards on 13-of-27 attempts, with one interception, while sophomore quarterback Todd Reesing finished the day 10-of-20 for 171 yards.

Senior wide receiver Marcus Henry scored three touchdowns on the afternoon with 150 yards on six receptions. Sophomore safety Darrell Stuckey completed the day with a 37-yard interception, good for a touchdown and three tackles.

Junior linebacker Joe Mortenson compiled a team-high 10 tackles, including three for a loss, while junior linebacker James Holt recorded four tackles and a team-high two sacks. Junior linebacker Mike Rivera added eight tackles, including one for a loss.
