In just his second year at the helm of the women’s track and field team at the University of Minnesota, Bingle has led the Gophers to two Big Ten Indoor Championships en route to his two coaching honors. Prior to Bingle’s tenure, the Minnesota women had never won an Indoor Big Ten title.

Before taking over the head coaching position, Bingle served as an assistant for one year before taking the role of associate head coach and then interim head coach. In each of the first past two seasons, the Gophers have had a top-20 finish at the NCAA Championships and in 2006, crowned the program’s first National Champion in Heather Dorniden (indoor 800 meters). In addition, Bingle has had almost a third of his team honored by the Big Ten’s All-Academic team.

Moon, in his 36th year with the Pirates, is one of the most renowned track and field coaches in the country. He served as an assistant coach for the United States at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia and has been elected to lead the United States at five other international events.

In all, Moon has coached 71 All-Americans, seven National Champions and 19 Olympic athletes. Most recently, Seton Hall returned eight Big East Champions from the 2007 season and added six more from the 2008 Big East Indoor Championships.
