Jayhawks Finish 12th at Aggie Invitational

Zach Pederson shot a 153 to rank as the top-finisher for the Kansas Men’s Golf team as they wrapped up its regular season with a 12th place finish at the Aggie Invitational.

Pederson shot a final round 80 to finish the event tied for 49th place. Junior Bryan Hackenberg carded the Jayhawks low round of the day with a 79 and finished tied for 58th place.

Senior Andrew Storm and sophomore Nate Barbee both finished the event with 157 strokes and tied for 64th place.

Senior Walt Koelbel and sophomore Bobby Knowles both finished the event tied for 71st place.

Oklahoma State managed to hold off host Texas A&M by three strokes to take home the team title with 714 strokes. Rickie Fowler won medalist honors with 138 strokes over the two round event.

The Jayhawks will now look forward to competing in the Big 12 Championship April 27-29 at Prairie Dunes Golf Club in Hutchinson, Kan. Check back to kuathletics.com for complete coverage of the event.
