<?xml:namespace prefix=”st1″ ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags”?>LAWRENCE, Kan. – Angie Storey, a compliance coordinator in Kansas Athletics since 2006, has been appointed interim associate director of the Williams Educational Fund. Storey replaces Jennifer Berquist, who last month was named interim director of the WEF.

Kansas Athletics Director Lew Perkins named Berquist to that post to replace former WEF Director Rodney Jones. Jones, whom Perkins placed on administrative leave in early March, resigned his position last week.

Storey has two degrees from KU – an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and an MBA. She has worked at the KU Endowment Association as a manager of student development, and since 2006 has coordinated education outreach programs in Kansas Athletics’ Compliance Office.

“Angie brings to the Williams Educational Fund a wide range of experience at KU and an appreciation for customer service,” Perkins said. “Our donors will enjoy working with her.”
