Mario Little: Shooting, ball-handling and confidence |

Jo (Lawrence): Does a lot of pressure come with being known as the funniest player on the team? |

Mario Little: No, I just try to be myself. And people just laugh. |

Mario Little: Work out, take a couple classes, get ready for next season |

Jace (Champaign, IL): What advice can you give to a young player who can’t afford a lot of summer camps but wants to improve his game and play at the next level? |

Mario Little: Just chill, watch a movie, play video games–UFC lately |

Mario Little: I like R&B, hip-hop. I don’t have a favorite R&B, but hip-hop–JZ |

You were bothered by injuries your first year at KU–how is your body feeling these days?

Mario Little: Better. Much better than the last two years. |

Machelle (Dallas): Mario–Everyone says you are the funny guy on the team. Who is the funniest person that you know? |

Mario Little: Funniest person I know on the team is Sherron–everybody’s pretty funny in their own way. |

Ryan L. (Phoenix): What teams are you cheering for in the playoffs and who do you think will win it all? |

Mario Little: Cheering for Chicago, but the Lakers are gonna win it all. |

Mario Little: I don’t play any now, but I liked to play football |

Mario Little: Because I’m from Chicago and Jordan wore #23 |

Mario Little: I like the Bears and any Chicago team. And I like the Yankees. |

Mario Little: Michael Jordan and a lot of NBA players |

Braeden: Hi Mario! Has taking a year off (from games) changed how you approach the game or how hard you work? |

Mario Little: Yeah–I appreciate it more |

Lauren: Do you have any superstitions (either basketball-related or other)? |

Mario Little: If I play good in a certain pair of shoes or undershirt, I’ll stick with that and wear it again |

Joplin, MO: It had to tough to sit out last year after being injured much of your junior season. How do you keep motivated in practices? I hope we get a chance to see you healthy this next year. |

Mario Little: Try to make other guys players and just try to get better myself, thinking about next year. |

Kendall K. (Washington Heights): Hi Mario! Do you have friends that play on other teams–can you name some of them and have you ever had to play against them? |

Mario Little: Yeah, I know guys from Kansas State and Missouri. |

Mario Little: a lot of funny things happen, it’s hard to choose just one. |
