Metro Sports to Televise Two Kansas Baseball Games

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas City-based cable station Metro Sports announced Tuesday that it will televise two Kansas baseball games live from Hoglund Ballpark in the upcoming week.

Metro Sports will broadcast KU’s meeting with Wichita State, scheduled for Tuesday, April 30 at 6 p.m., and also the series finale against Baylor on Sunday, May 5 at 1 p.m. The Wichita State game will also be available on Cox Cable Channel 22 in the Topeka and Wichita viewing areas.

Kansas has had eight of its first 39 games televised this season, with seven being broadcast on Fox College Sports. KU is 5-3 in televised games in 2013.

The Jayhawks (24-15) will face Baker University in a non-conference game on Wednesday night at Hoglund Ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
