Kansas Baseball's Series Finale With Texas Tech Rained Out

LUBBOCK, Texas – Due to consistent rainfall in the West Texas region, Sunday’s series finale between the University of Kansas baseball team and Texas Tech has been cancelled and will not be made up.

The Red Raiders captured a victory in Friday’s series opener, downing KU 9-7, before the Jayhawks recovered to even the series at one game apiece with a 13-7 win on Saturday.

Kansas (25-20; 4-10 Big 12) is back in action this week as they participate in the Best of the Midwest Tournament at T-Bones Community America Ballpark in Kansas City, Kan. The Jayhawks will face New Mexico State on Tuesday at 2 p.m. and will conclude the tournament with a match-up against Sacramento State on Wednesday at noon.
