On the game:

“The one thing I told our guys is that we have to find a way to flush that one. That’s the first time we’ve played bad at home all year. Obviously we played bad in every phase of the game.”

On Nebraska:

“We knew they (Nebraska) were going to play hard and they did exactly what we thought they were going to do. They walked in here, got after it and competed. That’s been a staple of their program and there’s some pride in that dugout. They showed some pride tonight when everyone is burying their team.”

On bouncing back tomorrow:

“It starts all over again tomorrow. We get their best guy tomorrow – I think he has one of the best arms in our league. But we’re going to run a good arm out there (T.J. Walz) and it’ll be a completely different game.”

On the team:

“Obviously the two pick-offs were huge. Our scouting report says he has a really good pick-off move, and those guys knew that. We had 11 hits in the fourth inning and as a result of those picks, we only got four runs. Obviously we made some big time mental mistakes and some physical mistakes today.”
