Jayhawks Enter Final Round at 2010 Big 12 Championship in 12th Place

Senior Bryan Hackenberg shot a third round 76 to lead the Kansas men’s golf team during the third round of the 2010 Big 12 Championship at Whispering Pines Golf Club. The Jayhawks enter the final round in 12th place.
Oklahoma State enters the final round with a two-stroke edge over Texas and a four-shot advantage over Texas Tech. The Cowboys are attempting to win the event for the fourth-straight year.
The Jayhawks shot a 315 in round three. KU trails 11th-place Missouri by one stroke.
Junior Nate Barbee carded an 80 and is tied for 28th place. Freshman Chris Gilbert shot a 78 and is tied for 35th place.
Freshman Alex Gutesha is tied for 51st after shooting an 84. Hackenberg is tied for 54th place. Freshman Dan Waite shot an 81 and is in 60th place.
Chris Ward of Texas Tech sustained his overnight individual lead by carding a 71 and has a two-stroke edge over Texas’ Bobby Hudson.
