April 24, 2010

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

With the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the fourth inning, inclement weather postponed the Kansas versus Texas Tech softball game Saturday evening. The game will resume at 11 a.m. on Sunday followed by the teams’ second game originally scheduled for noon. Fans wearing pink to tomorrow’s contests can gain entry for just $3.

Through three and 2/3 innings, the Red Raiders lead 4-0. TTU’s Emily Bledsoe knocked a three-run home run over the fence in right-center field in the first inning. Bledsoe ranks second in the Big 12 with 16 homers. Logan Hall then hit an RBI single through the left side in the bottom of the third inning to push Texas Tech’s advantage to four.
