LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Kansas tennis closed out its regular season Sunday with a loss to No. 2 Baylor, 7-0, at the Jayhawk Tennis Facility. KU players and coaches honored senior Kunigunda Dorn before the event.

Despite showing a valiant effort, the Jayhawks could not get a win versus the 2nd-ranked team in the country, which boasts four singles players in the national rankings and the No. 10 doubles team.

The loss drops Kansas to 9-14 overall and 1-10 in Big 12 play, while Baylor improves to 24-2 and 10-0, and extends its winning streak over Big 12 opponents to 52.
