Costner Selected to All-Big 12 Team

IRVING, Texas –

Senior Amanda Costner was one of 11 student-athletes selected to the women’s golf All-Big 12 Team, as selected by the league’s head coaches, the conference announced. Costner, who was the first Jayhawk in history to be crowned with the individual title at the Big 12 Championship on April 18, is
honored for the second consecutive year.

The Claremore, Okla., native, led the Jayhawks with a 75.87 stroke average this year. Costner, who is the only Jayhawk in history to record two top-10 finishes at a Big 12 Championship, was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team this season.

Costner and the Jayhawks will await the NCAA selection committee’s announcement of the NCAA Regionals field on April 30. The NCAA Regionals is scheduled for May 10-12 in Ann Arbor, Mich.
