Kansas Tennis Eliminated by Oklahoma, 4-0, in Big 12 Championships

AUSTIN, Texas –

No. 12 seed Kansas tennis concluded its season as it fell to No. 5 seed Oklahoma, 4-0, in the first round of the Big 12 Championships in Austin, Texas on Thursday.

After a season that included 12 nationally-ranked opponents, Kansas finished its season 9-14 overall with a 1-11 mark in the Big 12.

The Jayhawks were led by underclassmen this season, as four of the six singles positions were made up of two freshmen and two sophomores.

Oklahoma will face No. 4 Texas A&M on Friday as the Big 12 Championships resume through the weekend.
