Jayhawks-Sooners to Complete Series with Saturday Doubleheader

May 1, 2009

NORMAN, Okla. –

Due to the likelihood of rain the rest of the weekend, the Kansas-Oklahoma baseball series has been changed. The teams will play the first game of the three-game set tonight at 6:30 p.m., and finish the series Saturday with a doubleheader beginning at noon.

This will mark the third doubleheader KU has played in the span of seven days. KU has swept all three doubleheaders it has played this season, with wins over Northwestern, Nebraska and Chicago State.

With the change in schedule, KLWN AM will cover just two games from the series, the Friday night game as well as the second game Saturday, beginning at approximately 3 p.m.
