Kansas Baseball Adds Game with Saint Mary's

May. 2, 2005

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The University of Kansas baseball team has added a game to its upcoming schedule as the Jayhawks will take on Saint Mary’s on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Hoglund Ballpark.

In the contest, KU will attempt to win its 30th game of the season and post a 30+ win season for a school record third straight season. Kansas trails the all-time series with Saint Mary’s 20-18, but the two have not met on the baseball diamond since the 1930 season.

The game will replace April 24’s scheduled game with Texas Tech, which was cancelled due to steady rain in the Lubbock, Texas, area.
