Kansas Volleyball Headed to Europe This Spring

Later this month, Kansas volleyball will embark on a 12-day, multi-country European tour. The team will depart the U.S. on May 28 and travel to several cities in Italy and Switzerland to train and play teams from various cities. Plenty of sightseeing and cultural experiences are also scheduled along the way.

The majority of the Jayhawks’ trip will be spent in Italy, where the team will play seven matches in 10 days and visit several cities including Rome, Bologna, Venice, Milan, Florence and Novara. The team also plans to visit popular tourist attractions such as Vatican City, the Pantheon, the Coliseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.

The Jayhawks conclude their tour with a day trip through Montreux, Switzerland on their way to Geneva, Switzerland for their final night.
