Become a Junior Jayhawk Today; Registration is Now Open

May 8, 2013

LAWRENCE, Kan.– Junior Jayhawks, the official kids club for Kansas Athletics, is currently open for registration. This club is available to children, aged 13 and under.

Kansas Athletics encourages all young Jayhawk fans to set goals, dream, be active and cheer for the Jayhawks. As a Junior Jayhawk member, you’ll receive special meet-and-greet opportunities with Jayhawk student-athletes and coaches, unique experiences such as cheering with the spirit squad during a women’s basketball game, behind the scene tours of KU’s athletic facilities, special invitations to watch practice and much, much more. In addition, parents and guardians will receive e-mails about special ticket offers to select games.

Memberships are good through the academic year, starting in August 2013 and ending in May 2014. Sign up before the end of August to ensure all the benefits are received.

This year, two different memberships are being offered. The “Big Jay” membership is $45 per person and is for the Junior Jayhawk who likes to attend games with their parents from time-to-time. FREE admission for the Junior Jayhawk to select games (including football and men’s basketball) is the main benefit to being a “Big Jay” member. The “Baby Jay” membership is $25 per child and is for Junior Jayhawks who are loyal, but cannot attend the games or already have season tickets.

A complete list of benefits for both memberships can be found on the Junior Jayhawk website. Kansas Athletics would also like to thank this year’s sponsors of Junior Jayhawks, Southwest Dairy Farmers and Pizza Hut.
