KU will play four games at the Jayhawk Classic at Hoglund Ballpark this weekend. Northern Colorado and Bradley will play the first game of the Classic at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 12 while KU and Bradley will meet that night at 7 p.m. Kansas will then play two games on Saturday. KU’s first game will be at 1 p.m. against Bradley with a nightcap against UNC at 7 p.m. The Classic will conclude with a 1 p.m. game between the Jayhawks and UNC at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Free Admission
Friday’s Bradley vs. Northern Colorado (2 p.m.) and Saturday’s Bradley vs. Kansas (1 p.m.) games will be free admission.

Up Next
Kansas will conclude its regular season with a critical home Big 12 series against Texas A&M. The first game of the series will start at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 19 with game two set for 6 p.m on May 20. Sunday’s season finale will start at 1 p.m. and will include senior day ceremonies. Sunday’s game will also be broadcast by Metro Sports.

A Look at Bradley
After suffering a doubleheader sweep to Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the Braves enter the Jayhawk Classic with a 22-24 record. Outfielder Dan Brewer leads the team with a .340 average and 14 doubles. Brandon Magee (7-3, 2.40) leads a pitching staff that carries a 4.16 team ERA.

A Look at Northern Colorado
The Bears are coming to Lawrence after two hard fought losses at Wichita State on Wednesday. UNC dropped the first game of the twin bill, 2-1, then lost 5-4 in 14 innings in the night cap. Despite the loss, Northern Colorado is no stranger to winning games against ranked teams this season. UNC has defeated then No. 2 Nebraska, 5-2, and No. 12 Arkansas, 4-2, on the road.
Third baseman Brennan Garr is the Bears top hitter with a .333 avenge. Designated hitter Zach Harris leads the team with 11 home runs and 42 RBI. UNC is 8-21 on the road and 5-7 at home this season.
