Costner Tied For 39th At NCAA Regionals

Junior golfer Amanda Costner is tied for 39th at the NCAA Central Regional at the par 72 6,289 yard Traditions Golf Course in Bryan, Texas. Costner shot an opening round of 78 (+6) and is eight shots back of the lead.

The Claremore, Okla., native totaled 11 pars, one birdie, five bogeys and one double bogey on the day.
“Amanda really gutted it out today,” head coach Erin O’Neil said. “She didn’t have her best round, but mentally she stayed in it and gave herself and chance to make a move.”
