LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Big 12 again proved its status as one of the premier women’s soccer conferences in the nation Thursday as BennettRank slotted the league at No. 3 for the 2012 season. The Kansas Jayhawks finished sixth in the 2012 league standings and boasted an overall record of 10-8-2, their 10th 10-win season in the last 12 years.
The conference again featured a competitive collection of teams as over three-quarters of the squads found themselves ranked in the top-90 of the season’s final RPI standings.
