Kansas Headed to Corvallis Regional as No. 2 Seed

The University of Kansas (42-23) will travel to Corvallis, Org., as the No. 2 seed in a four-team NCAA Baseball Tournament Regional. No. 22 Kansas received an automatic berth into the field of 64-teams after winning its first Big 12 Championship with a 9-7 victory over Nebraska on Sunday.

KU will face No. 3 seed Hawaii (43-15) at 2 p.m. central time on Friday, June 2 at Goss Stadium. Oregon State (39-14) — host team and top seed — will face fourth-seed Wright State (32-25) — champions of the Horizon League — at 7 p.m. on Friday.

The double-elimination tournament continues with games on Saturday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Sunday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. If necessary, the tournament would conclude with a game Monday, June 5 at 4 p.m.
