Several Kansas Football Television Times Announced Tuesday

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Four Kansas football games will be televised nationally it was announced by the Big 12 Conference, which released its 2010 Preliminary Television Schedule Tuesday afternoon.

Two of the games were previously announced, including KU’s games at Southern Mississippi on Friday, Sept. 17 on ESPN at 7 p.m. and the Jayhawks’ home game against Kansas State on Thursday, Oct. 14 on Fox Sports Net at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s release included Kansas’ home non-conference game with Georgia Tech, slated for Saturday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. That game will be televised nationally on FSN. It was also announced that the annual Kansas vs. Missouri game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City will kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 11:30 a.m. FSN will carry the game nationally.

Other television announcements will be made throughout the season. The majority of the televised games will be announced on a 12-day notice. ABC also has rights to exercise a six-day option three times during the season.
