Kansas-Missouri Football Game To Be Played On Fox Sports Net

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

The Border Showdown football game will again be televised nationally it was announced by the Big 12 Conference, which released its 2011 Preliminary Television Schedule Friday afternoon.

Friday’s release included the annual Kansas vs. Missouri game at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, which will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 11 a.m. Fox Sports Net (FSN) will carry the game nationally. It was also announced that Kansas’ road non-conference game at Georgia Tech, slated for Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11:30 a.m. (CST), will be televised regionally on FSN.

Other television announcements will be made throughout the season. The majority of the televised games will be announced on a 12-day notice. ABC also has rights to exercise a six-day option three times during the season.
