POSITION: Aquatic Rehab Center Supervisor/Certified Athletic Trainer

STARTING DATE: As soon as possible following candidate selection

APPOINTMENT: 12 month; Post Grad Assistantship

SALARY: $1,200.00 per month plus health insurance

DUTIES: Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the Aquatic Rehabilitation Center and hydrotherapy room of the Anderson Family Football Complex. Provide sports medicine needs to the student-athlete. Work closely with sport coaches, strength coaches, physicians and medical facilities concerning the student-athletes health and wellness.QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:• Undergraduate Degree in Athletic Training, Physical Education, Health or related field.• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with NATABOC• Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) with State of Kansas Board of Healing Arts or eligible.• CPR/AED certification

Preferred:• Completion of undergraduate or Masters degree from a CAAHEP accredited program• Water safety/rescue certification• Additional certifications in aquatic rehabilitation i.e; Bad Ragaz Ring, Hallicick Method, WATSU, American Association of Medical hydrotherapy, Aquatic Exercise Association, US Water Fitness Association, ARC Lifeguard, Swimming Instructor, etc.
