June 11, 2009

A host of former and current Jayhawks, including head coach Kit Grove, recently competed in the Kansas Four-Ball Championship at Alvamar Golf Club in Lawrence, Kan.

Former Jayhawks Pete Krsnich and Luke Trammel stole the show for the Jayhawks in the medalist round of the competition with a two-round score of eight-under par 135. The duo that competed for former head coach Ross Randall continued their strong play until falling in the quarterfinals of match play.

Of the 14 past or present Jayhawks competing, 12 of them were able to advance to the match play portion of the tournament.

In match play, senior Andrew Storm and junior Bobby Knowles caught fire and won their first four matches before falling in the finals in 20 holes.
