Kansas Athletics administration and coaches comments on Big 12 Commissioner Kevin Weiberg’s resignation, June 14.

Lew Perkins, Athletics Director – “Kevin has done a terrific job for the Big 12 Conference. I have known Kevin for more than 25 years and have always respected the work he’s done. He led the Big 12 through its formative years, and leaves the conference in great shape, poised well to face the future.”

Don Green, Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR)

– “From my perspective as a Faculty Athletics Representative, he and his staff have done excellent work coordinating the duties of the different governance groups, the FAR’s, AD’s, SWA’s and the Board. I always felt that he emphasized the issues of student-athlete welfare and sportsmanship. Beyond all that, Kevin is just a very good person. We will miss him.”
