Woodland won his third consecutive match by a score of 3&2 and became the first two-time winner of the event since former Jayhawk and current PGA Tour player Matt Gogel accomplished the feat in 1991 and 1992. Woodland previously won the event in 2005 at Colbert Hills.

Woodland tied for medalist honors with Stonestreet in the 300-player field by shooting a five-under par score in the two stroke-play rounds. He then survived six match-play matches to take home the crown.

Woodland won four events during his Jayhawk career including three during his senior campaign. Click here for a complete view of the bracket: http://www.kansasgolf.org/Championships/2007Results/KSam/Bracket.htm
