– Sean Land allowed just one hit in six innings to earn his second victory for the Elizabethton Twins on July 29.

– Ritchie Price hit a walk-off single to help the Kingsport Mets clinch a doubleheader sweep on July 29.

– Tom Gorzelanny pitched seven strong innings for the Pittsburgh Pirates to record his first MLB victory against San Francisco at PNC Park on July 29. During the game, Gorzelanny struck out Barry Bonds and also picked up his first career RBI.

– Don Czyz helped the Jamestown Jammers get over the .500 mark.

– Gus Milner hit his first professional home run on July 19. The three-run homer improved Milner’s average with runners in scoring position to .346.

– The Texas Rangers 2005 Minor League Player of the Year Travis Metcalf is starting to heat up.
