Football Single-Game Tickets on Sale Wednesday

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The wait is over for fans wanting to buy single-game tickets for the 2012 home football season.

Tickets go on sale for all six home games on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at 9 a.m. This year the Jayhawks host South Dakota State (Sept. 1, 6 p.m.), Rice (Sept. 8, 2:30 p.m.), TCU (Sept. 15, 11 a.m.), Oklahoma State (Oct. 13, TBD), Texas (Oct. 27, TBD) and Iowa State (Nov. 17, TBD).

Tickets are available in all three tiers for as low as $25 to nonconference games, $40 for the TCU and Iowa State games and $60 for Oklahoma State and Texas. Groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets to any home game at a discounted rate.

Season tickets are still on sale for as low as $199 and three-game mini-packs are available for just $125. The family plan, which includes four season tickets (two adult and two youth) is also available at for the new price of just $350.

Kansas Football fans are ready for the season and excited to usher in a new era with Head Coach Charlie Weis. A record amount of reserved season tickets have been sold for the 2012 season, and reserved ticket sales are up nearly 5,000 over last year.
