LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas’ men’s basketball schedule for 2009-10 is set as the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase matchups were announced Saturday.

As previously released, Kansas will play Memphis on Nov. 17 in its first game away from home at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo. It is the first meeting between the two teams since KU defeated the Tigers 75-68 in overtime to win the 2008 NCAA Championship at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

The KU-Memphis contest will be televised on ESPN and will tip at 9 p.m. (Central). The Jayhawk-Tiger battle will be the second game of the Showcase doubleheader with Arkansas versus Louisville tipping at 6:30 p.m. The event, managed by BEST (Blue Entertainment Sports Television), is an annual benefit for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.

KU’s next three games in the Basketball Hall of Fame Showcase will be in Allen Fieldhouse against Central Arkansas on Nov. 19, Oakland on Nov. 25 and Tennessee Tech on Nov. 27. All three of those contests start at 7 p.m. and will air on Jayhawk TV and ESPN Full Court.
