Kansas Soccer Holds First Fall Practice

practiceLAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas soccer took to the practice field on Wednesday morning as the team ran through its first official workout of the fall season. The Jayhawks completed their fitness tests in the early portion of practice and then worked on some defensive fundamentals throughout the later portion.

The Jayhawks will hold two-a-day practices this week, before settling into a more regular schedule next Tuesday. KU’s first exhibition contest is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 12 when the Jayhawks take on Eastern Illinois at 1 p.m. at the Jayhawk Soccer Complex. Admission to the preseason match is free of charge for all fans.
