Hefferon Wins Silver At Junior Pan Am Games

University of Kansas rising sophomore Paul Hefferon ran to a second place finish in the men’s 5000 Meter race at the Junior Pan American Games in Windsor, Ontario, Canada this past Friday. Representing the United States, the Overland Park, Kan. native captured silver after running a time of 14:56.65 to beat out the third place finisher Joilson Bernar Da Silva of Brazil by almost two seconds.

Daniel Nunn, also representing the United States, was the first place finisher with a time of 14:55.17.
